HARVEY HOUSE
Gulf Islands, B.C. : 1996
2200 square feet

The plan is long and linear with all major rooms stretched parallel to the ocean. The metaphor of a bridge is used both to suggest the litteral bridging of the pathway and the structural quality of the trestle structure that supports the long arching roof.
